Hello Elizabeth and Glenn, I wanted to share some pictures of our native garden. It has really taken off! We are amazed that it hasn’t even been a year since planting. The garden provides us with hours of enjoyment and we absolutely love it. We have had so many pollinators visit since we planted. We now want to plant natives in the front yard. Thank you so much for consulting with us on this project. We are so happy. Here are some pictures, I’m not sure that they will all send so I may have to break them up. Take care! - Beth

Hi there! I wanted to share some photos of my Pocket Prairie which includes a few annuals just for extra color. In addition to a very successful planting of Wildflower seeds, I also have a Retama tree, a Deciduous holly, a Texas Redbud, a Buttonbush, Texas Star Hibiscus and a Pride of Houston Holly all in the front yard as well. It's so inspiring to see how quickly all the plants have taken to my front yard and how quickly bees and butterflies and caterpillars have all made their home there already. A true Testament that Mother Nature wants to see life flourish and all we have to do is not destroy its habitat and she does a great job. This weekend I'm going to try and get an aerial view of the yard with a little drone that I bought. If it comes out good I'll send that as well. - Michael

We have a Chat skulking around back here. He’s the dark object on the right rock. Got some poor quality video of him moving around. He said thank you for the native plants.

Hi, Elizabeth & Glenn, I just wanted to send you some beauty shots from your handiwork now that we are two seasons on from your planting. Everything is self-seeding and growing beautifully. I only covered one or two of the small Blackeyed Susan plants for the freeze, but not a single one froze, even tho they had just been sprouting from the unseasonably warm winter. The things that froze back, of course, came right back up again. The frogfruit came back with a vengeance! Last year we didn't know what those 6' tall plants in front of the electric box were but we let them be and were rewarded with gorgeous American basketflowers! We’d never even heard of that flower before, but every living thing in our yard loves them, including us. I can still remember walking out for the first time and being thrilled by the beautiful, delicate, ethereal flowers. So please let Glenn know it was a perfect choice on every front. The crossvine has been magnificent and the coral honeysuckle too. - Ange F.
