Ever wonder about the health of your property's ecosystems? Discover what bird species and key tree, shrub, and wildflower species exist on your property and what can be done to increase habitat health. Surveys can be conducted on properties of any size, from small yards to large acreages.

Bird & habitat surveys include:

• All bird species & key plant species survey conducted by bird and native plant specialist Glenn Olsen.
• Survey report compiled and returned within three weeks of site visit (digital copy included, hard copy available at additional cost). Report includes: list of observed species, habitat diversity rating (low, medium, high), and optional recommendations for improving habitat health.
• One hour consultation with Glenn Olsen following receipt of report (included in price but optional).

Survey Pricing:

• 1-25 acres: $550
• 26-50 acres: $750
• 51-75 acres: $950
• 76-100 acres: $1150
• 100 + acres: Contact for pricing​

Drive fee:

• Properties within 50 miles of downtown Houston: Drive fee is waived.
• Properties 50-150 miles from downtown Houston: Drive fee is $1 per mile for each mile over 50 miles from downtown Houston. (So, if your property is 100 miles from downtown Houston, one-time drive fee is $50).
• Properties over 150 miles: Drive fee is $1 per mile for each mile over 50 miles from downtown Houston. (So, if your property is 250 miles from downtown Houston, one-time drive fee is $200). Also, we ask that one night of lodging be provided surveyor (in spare bedroom or at hotel).
