Native plants can be challenging to find. It can often take time and miles to locate the Texas natives you're seeking. If you're working with a traditional landscaping company, they may not be familiar with native plants and may need to find new suppliers to find authentic Texas native plants. This means they will either need to raise your price or deliver easy-to-find plants that resemble native plants but aren't native. GO Native Landscaping offers plant sourcing, delivery, and placement services to help ensure you get true Texas natives. The day of installation, we place your plants in spots we know they will thrive.
We enjoy the opportunity to work with other landscaping companies on native plant landscaping projects. Our only request is that we be allowed to begin placing plants 1-3 hours before your regular landscaping crew arrives, depending on the size of the crew and complexity of the project. If you are a DIY homeowner and your "crew" is your hubby and your kids, that works for us!
We also request that the crew be open to our instruction on planting the plants properly, a process which includes loosening the roots, planting flush with or a quarter-inch above ground level, and firming the soil around the plant afterwards to decrease erosion and ensure good soil contact with the roots. We want to make sure our plants are planted properly so they will be healthy, exhibit proper flowering and fruiting, and sustain a long life.We want your investment to reap long-lasting benefits.
Start the process by requesting a consultation for a large project or DIY home landscaping project. After seeing your property and learning your goals, we will send you a project timeline and estimate.
