GO Native Landscaping works with businesses, municipalities, water control districts, nonprofits, and private owners of multi-acre properties in Houston and Southeast Texas to beautify their landscapes and improve habitat for pollinators and birds, along with sustainability and resilience to weather extremes.
GO Native Landscaping will review your project and email you to schedule a consultation.
During our consultation, we will walk around the property with you and/or your organization's designated staff member, such as the facilities manager, to discuss your organization's landscaping goals, challenges and potential solutions.
If you like our ideas and wish to receive an estimate and timeline for services, we will provide them. GO Native Landscaping provides estimates for the following services:
Landscape design services
Bird and pollinator habitat improvement services
Plant sourcing and placement services
Installation services
5. If you would like to move forward, you would complete payment on the first half of estimated project costs. At that point, our work begins. The final payment isn't due until the project is completed and you are pleased with the results.
LARGE PROJECT SERVICES
CONSULTING & RECOMMENDED PLANTS SERVICES: These services are ideal if you already have a landscape maintenance company and are seeking recommendations as to how to help your landscape become more attractive, resilient and sustainable, while benefiting birds and pollinators. Also, if you'd like to receive customized plant lists based on your property's soil, sun and shade, and moisture conditions that you can share with your regular landscaping company or purchase, we can provide this. These services also include a follow-up email with GO Native Landscaping's Native Plant Sources and Native Plant Care sheets, which will help your landscaping maintenance company find and take care of the plants we recommend. PLANT SOURCING & PLACEMENT SERVICES: These services are ideal if you already have a landscape maintenance company you would like to install the plants, but you would like GO Native Landscaping to find, deliver and place the plants in the spots where they will thrive.
These partnerships have worked well for us and we enjoy the opportunity to work with other landscaping companies. Our only request is that we be allowed to begin placing plants 1-3 hours before your regular landscaping crew arrives, depending on the size of the crew and complexity of the project. We also request that the crew be open to our instruction on planting the plants properly, a process which includes loosening the roots, planting flush with or a quarter-inch above ground level, and firming the soil around the plant afterwards to decrease erosion and ensure good soil contact with the roots. We request the opportunity to make sure our plants are planted properly because we want to ensure they are healthy, exhibit proper flowering and fruiting, and sustain a long life.Additionally, we want your investment to reap long-lasting benefits.

INSTALLATION SERVICES: If your property does not currently have a landscape maintenance crew, GO Native can provide installation services, which includes the sourcing and placement of plants described above. We have a small crew, but for large projects we work in partnership with larger landscaping companies we trust to do good work. In this case, after hiring us for your initial consultation, we would visit your property again with our partners and work with them to complete your estimate. You would receive one estimate from us and work directly with us, and we are onsite during installation placing the plants and supervising our partners' work.
