Want to attract hummingbirds to your yard, but not sure where to begin? Hummingbirds migrate through Texas in the fall and spring. We also have a few winter species. Join us to learn what trees, shrubs, vines, and wildflowers you can plant to attract Ruby-throated and other beautiful hummingbirds to your yard. We will also discuss hummingbird diet and behavior, as well as ideal placement and maintenance of hummingbird feeders. Hummingbirds are amazing creatures. With little time investment, you can attract them and provide countless hours of entertainment, photography, and learning opportunities for you and your family.

We will also discuss placement of bird baths, houses, and feeders. Birds we will focus on attracting include ruby-throated hummingbirds, Carolina chickadees, house wrens, Eastern bluebirds, indigo buntings, summer tanagers, warblers, and owls.
